We’re getting silly on a brand new episode of George Kennedy is my Copilot with Greydon Clark’s Airplane-inspired horror spoof WACKO from 1982 featuring Joe Don Baker, Stella Stevens, Julia Duffy, Andrew “not yet Dice” Clay and – of course – George Kennedy as the kinda creepy Mr. Doctor Graves! It’s full of sight gags, puns, Hitchcock references and not a heck of a lot else. We also fit in a discussion on the Clint Black video for “Summer’s Comin'” which features a lovely George Kennedy cameo (amongst a slew of other celebs). CHECK IT OUT!

LISTEN UP, JERKS. On this episode of PRAISING KANE we’re bringing the funny with the 1982 horror spoof PANDEMONIUM from director Alfred Sole (ALICE SWEET ALICE). Starring Tom Smothers as the intrepid Mountie Cooper (accompanied by Paul Reubens as Johnson), the gag-filled comedy follows a group of students at a cheerleading camp being slaughtered by a mysterious killer, including Carol Kane as the CARRIE-like Candy. We also discuss the recent passing of Richard Belzer (and how Carol Kane connects to his most famous character), as well as all the most recent Carol Kane news. ENJOY!

On this episode of GEORGE KENNEDY IS MY COPILOT we’re getting spoofy with 1988’s THE NAKED GUN: FROM THE FILES OF POLICE SQUAD, starring Leslie Nielsen as Detective Frank Drebin, who is trying to uncover a plot to assassinate the Queen. It’s a big-screen adaptation of the short-lived TV show from the creators of AIRPLANE! and TOP SECRET!, and BOY our hosts have differing opinions on its quality. We also go in-depth on the classic 70s game show MATCH GAME, and check out George Kennedy’s first appearance on it. It’s chock full o’ nuts, so check it out!
